Auditions for Next Generation Girl Band Led by Vocalist Ririka Satsuki Now Underway

ASOBISYSTEM and CHIMERAZ, a group of music creators who have produced many popular artists including YUURI, have teamed up to launch a new next-gen girl band project. Applications for band member auditions opened today, February 20.
Ririka Satsuki will serve as the group’s vocalist. The artist won the Grand Prix at the Tenkaichi Budokai singing battle in October 2023 on YUURI’s official YouTube video.
In the Tenkaichi Budookai, Satsuki beat 60 other qualifying contestants chosen out of an application pool of 5,000. She wowed the judges with her natural singing voice and power of expression, making them feel as though they were watching a drama series.
The audition site opened today to recruit band members who will work together to create the next girl band generation. The band will be produced by CHIMERAZ, a group of enigmatic music creators who have produced numerous hit songs, including YUURI’s signature song Dry Flower. The members will work towards making their debut within the year.

■Requirements
● Females between the ages of 18-25
● Ability to play the guitar, bass, drums, or keyboard
● Must be able to work in Tokyo
● Must be able to prioritize band activities
● Must not be under contract with another record company, music publisher, production company, etc.

<Ririka Satsuki Profile>
Ririka Satsuki is a 23-year-old artist born in Fukuoka. She began her career in 2017 and has since appeared on NTV’s Monomane Grand Prix and AbemaTV’s Koisuru Weekend Homestay. In 2022, she joined the idol group IDOLATER, where she remained until its dissolution in 2023. Her singing videos, in which she sings with a natural crying husky voice, have attracted a lot of attention on social media, and she continues to steadily increase her fanbase, boasting more than 110,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel. Satsuki also won the Grand Prix in the Tenkaichi Budokai on YUURI’s YouTube channel and continues making great strides toward further success.

CHIMERAZ is the name of a group of music creators led by a mysterious producer.
The group dabbles in all aspects of music, including lyrics, composition, arrangement, performance, and music video production.
