New-age band Klang Ruler, led by trackmaker yonkey, will release its first album Space Age on May 15.

The group’s first album is based on the motif of ‘retro-futurism’ and includes a selection of epic songs with a sci-fi feel. The unique concept is more complex—”In a future where music is mass-produced by AI and consumed by humans, Klang Ruler’s Space Age is still being listened to, all made by forgotten vintage technology and people from a past age.” The album is the culmination of Klang Ruler’s unique sound cultivated over the past few years.

The artwork for the album is reminiscent of the advent of the space age, with the artist’s photos seeming as if they were taken on a faraway planet long ago.

In conjunction with the album’s release, a solo concert titled ‘Klang Ruler One Man Show “Space Age” will take place in Tokyo and Osaka in July.
