FRUITS ZIPPER to Release Main Song from 1st Album ‘NEW KAWAII’ in Advance, Pop-up Store to Open in Harajuku

In April 2024, FRUITS ZIPPER will begin appearing regularly on the TV show Mayurika to FRUITS ZIPPER and will also start the radio program FRUITS ZIPPER no Razippa! If that wasn’t enough, the group will hold their second-anniversary concert ‘FRUITS ZIPPER 2nd ANNIVERSARY Chou Medetai Live ~NEW KAKWAII~ for two days at Nippon Budokan. The main song from the group’s first album NEW KAWAII, set to be released on April 10, is already available to download.

The new song titled NEW KAWAII is a positive track that expresses the individuality of each member of the group, highlighting both the good and bad parts of themselves and each other. FRUITS ZIPPER has described itself as a ‘NEW KAWAII’ group since debuting, and the new track is filled with new values, like hanging around in your pajamas and treading off the beaten path. The lyrics and music were written by Sho Yamamoto, who also wrote the group’s most popular song Watashino Ichiban Kawaiitokoro.

They will perform the song on CDTV Live! Live! on TBS on April 1 and a music video teaser has been posted to YouTube. Each member’s solo teaser video will be released one per day starting March 23.

In addition, a pop-up store, FRUITS ZIPPER -NEW KAWAII- POP UP STORE, will be held in Harajuku from April 5 to April 14 to celebrate the group’s second anniversary and the album’s release. Along with new items, there will be re-releases of acrylic stands featuring past costumes and birthday goods designed and supervised by each member.
