The streaming-only drama series A Man Who Defies the World of BL 2024 will begin streaming on Lemino towards the end of April 2024. The series is based on the comedy manga of the same name and stars the popular actor Yutaro. Ahead of the start date, a new visual has been released.

The new series is directed by Ryuichi Honda, known for his work on The Detective is Way Ahead and The Way of the Househusband. The protagonist, a normal-looking college student, finds himself in a world where scenarios seen in boy’s love stories are commonplace as he tries to avoid getting into one of these situations himself. Yutaro will play Ayato, the main character’s younger brother.

<Story>
One day, the main character releases that he is living in the world of BL manga.
Not wanting to end up in a situation where he becomes a part of a gay relationship, he studies every possible BL manga and learns how to dodge every major love flag each day. One day, that becomes impossible! The days of peace and quiet are gone, and he finds himself in a grueling battle to break free of this new world. Meanwhile, a new development appears in the midst of the relationship between Ayato and Tojo, who seemed to be falling in love easily…
