On November 1, singer-songwriter Natsuko Kondo released her new digital EP III (pronounced Trois).
The new work was born from Kondo’s desire to truly love herself after spending her entire life seemingly unable to do so. After facing her true self, she penned the EP as a reminder to love herself going forward.
Three songs are included: I., based on Kondo’s experience of being saved by the love of a loved one when she was incapable of loving herself; Ai no Kotoba ~Hohoemi Tsuki~, which expresses that happiness can be fulfilling even if it is incomplete like the crescent moon; and Oshimai no Uta, which overflows with pure love of life.
In addition, Natsuko Kondo Solo Concert 2023 ~I, II, III~, the artist’s last solo performance of the year, will be held at Kyobashi BERONICA in Osaka on December 21 to celebrate the EP’s release.
