In collaboration with the Japan Professional Basketball League (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Commissioner: Shinji Shimada), ASOBISYSTEM will undertake new initiatives to promote regional revitalization through the power of live entertainment. This will extend beyond basketball games, with the ultimate aim of realizing the vision of a “Nation Built on Emotion, which the B.LEAGUE aspires to create by 2050.
In the first installment, FRUITS ZIPPER, CANDY TUNE, SWEET STEADY, CUTIE STREET, and MORE STAR―all members of the idol project KAWAII LAB.―have been appointed as the “B Festival Cheer Squad,” and the official cheer song, Over Drive, will be released digitally on September 15.
It has also been confirmed that SWEET STEADY will perform at the ‘Resona Group B.LEAGUE 2026-27 B.LEAGUE PREMIER OPENING SELECTION’ game between the Saga Ballooners and the Hiroshima Dragonflies, which will be held at SAGA Arena on September 25.
Going forward, the B.LEAGUE and ASOBISYSTEM will continue discussions regarding entertainment initiatives aimed at regional revitalization, including content production and event appearances.
