ASOBISYSTEM has entered into a capital and business alliance with Contents X Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Daiki Kuromiya) through the acquisition of its shares.

Through this partnership, ASOBISYSTEM aims to further strengthen and expand both companies’ businesses by combining our strengths, including our expertise in the entertainment industry, content production capabilities, and network of creators, with Contents X’s expertise and capabilities in creative production and sales support for corporate-oriented content.

In addition, we will work together to create new business opportunities by leveraging the strengths of both companies, and we will also work toward the development of new joint ventures and original content IP in the future.

■ Background of the Partnership and Future Initiatives
ASOBISYSTEM is a cultural company that manages artists such as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Atarashii Gakko!, and FRUITS ZIPPER, and works with artists and creators to expand across a wide range of fields. In addition, while building partnerships with various companies and organizations—including broadcasters, publishers, and advertising agencies—it is also pursuing new business ventures based on our content and intellectual property.

Meanwhile, Contents X is advancing its Creative X and Sales X businesses, which express a company’s value through content and link it to sales and business activities, while also driving IP creation by leveraging the insights generated from these efforts and its network of creators.

Through this partnership, we will combine ASOBISYSTEM’s expertise in the entertainment industry, its content production capabilities, and its network of creators and corporate partners with Contents X’s “Creative X” and “Sales X” capabilities. By doing so, we will expand the possibilities for utilizing content and developing new business initiatives within both companies’ existing operations, while also taking on the challenge of jointly creating and delivering unprecedented new content and IP to the world.
