Shiho Takechi has been appointed as a ‘Churashima Okinawa Ambassador,’ a role in which she will promote Okinawa’s appeal both within and outside the prefecture.

After giving birth to twin boys, Takechi moved to Okinawa about six years ago and has been promoting the charms of Okinawa through media appearances and social media. She is currently writing a series titled “Shiho Takechi’s Relaxed Life Raising Twins in Okinawa” (HugMug), which shares insights on moving to Okinawa and raising children there.
