The grand opening date for ‘KAWAII MONSTER LAND – HARAJUKU – (Kawaii Monster Land, hereinafter ‘KML’)’, a joint venture between GENDA GiGO Entertainment Inc. and ASOBISYSTEM opening this winter beneath Takeshita Street in Harajuku, has been set for February 13, 2026. Starting today, we have begun selling tickets and have released more ticket details, a store map, and the facility’s symbol, ‘Choppy’s Mel-Tea Cup Ride.’

■What is KAWAII MONSTER LAND – HARAJUKU – ?

KML has been dubbed the “KAWAII Wonderland” brand produced by artist Sebastian Masuda. A brand-new entertainment facility has been created as the next chapter in the grand story of the monsters that first appeared at the entertainment restaurant “KAWAII MONSTER CAFE,” once located in Harajuku. This project, which generated significant buzz after its first announcement, will deliver exclusive experiences, themed around “a wonderland spreading beneath Harajuku that no one has yet discovered.”

■KML Store Area Map Unveiled for the First Time! — Introducing the Full Scope of the Wonderland Spanning Harajuku’s Underground

To coincide with the launch of KML, we are unveiling our in-store area map for the first time. The playground for monsters, partially unearthed beneath Harajuku, consists of many diverse areas, including vibrant streets, rides, and food and drink stalls. 

Guests can explore the monsters’ world through the facility’s symbol, the ‘Choppy’s Mel-Tea Cup Ride,’ the ‘Magic Spiral Gate’ that connects the surface world to their realm, the ‘Kawaii Monster Carnival’ street with stalls where visitors can prepare to join the monsters through games and decorations, the ‘Harajuku Gift Bazaar’ where guests can buy KAWAII items and Harajuku souvenirs, and the ‘Colorful Snack Street’ where you can enjoy food and drinks. Guests can freely explore this underground wonderland!

■The Facility’s Symbol, ‘Choppy’s Mel-Tea Cup Ride,’ Debuts

At the heart of KML is the teacup-shaped ride ‘Choppy’s Mel-Tea Cup Ride,’ featuring the character Choppy as its motif. This monument, directed by Masuda Sebastian, symbolizes KML and features a colorful cup of “melting” sweets that guests can ride on.

*When in use, the cup does not rotate.

*When using the Ride Pass, guests can enjoy a private photo session and ride experience with one cup immediately upon entry.

■Grand Opening Set for February 13, 2026! Advance Ticket Sales Now Open

The playground for monsters dormant beneath Harajuku, ‘KML,’ has completed its preparation period and will officially open on February 13, 2026. KML offers two types of tickets to suit your play style, plus an optional ticket to fully enjoy the main ride. All tickets include admission + novelty items (transformation assistance items + stickers, etc.) for a full “KAWAII experience.”

1. Admission Ticket (Time-Slot System)
A basic ticket for enjoying KML with ease. Features 60-minute time slots, scheduled entry, and dynamic pricing.

●Cost: Adults ¥2,800–¥3,500 (Tax Included) / Children ¥1,400–¥1,750 (Tax Included)
*Children: Ages 4–12 / Free for ages 3 and under.
*One adult aged 18 or older may bring up to two children aged 3 or younger free of charge.

2. Kawaii Experience Pack (All-Inclusive Pack)
Recommended for first-time visitors or those unsure what to choose. This value pack lets you enjoy KML’s signature items all at once.
