Yutaro will appear in the TV Tokyo Drama Next series Oshi ga Joshi ni Narimashite: Full Throttle, which will begin airing on October 8.

This series is a follow-up to October 2023’s Oshi ga Joshi ni Narimashite. This romantic comedy retains the charm of the original work while unfolding in a different timeline from the previous installment.

Yutaro will play the role of Tomo Minami, the younger brother of the protagonist, Ai Minami, who works as a president’s secretary at an apparel trading company.

“I’m Yutaro, and I’ll be playing Ai’s younger brother, Tomo! This is my first time acting alongside Airi Suzuki, but since we’ve been told we look alike, I felt a sense of kinship playing siblings. Also, my fave Yagi Yusei, who’s playing Shun-kun, is also my sister’s fave! I’m so happy that everyone can watch me participate in something with one of my fave actors ever! I want to enjoy playing the role of Tomo-kun—the guy who occasionally casually throws out words like “How many lives have you lived?” to his sister, as if she’s seen it all! We’re doing an improv battle with acting that feels like a real brother-sister dynamic, so I hope it comes through the screen!”
