SWEET STEADY Concludes First Anniversary Tokyo/Nagano/Osaka Tour

2025.05.01

SWEET STEADY held the finale of the SWEET STEADY 1st ANNIVERSARY TOUR 2025 – SWEET BLOOM on April 28 at Zepp Haneda.

SWEET STEADY made its debut last year as part of the KAWAII LAB idol project and consists of members Ayu Okuda, Yui Otoi, Natsuka Kurita, Rise Shiokawa, Mayumi Shiraishi, Nagisa Shoji, and Sakina Yamauchi. The group’s first single CD, Pajama Party! / Diamond Days, was released in December 2024, and reached #2 on the Oricon Daily Single Ranking chart, attracting tons of attention in the idol scene.
This recent live concert was the Tokyo leg of the group’s first Tokyo/Nagoya/Osaka tour, celebrating the first anniversary of their debut. Approximately 2,200 fans gathered to celebrate the group’s major milestone.

When the Overture began to play in the energetic venue, the audience welcomed the members with twinkling penlights and began to cheer. In response, the group performed their debut songs, Hajimari no Aizu and Sweet Cafe, showing fans how much they have grown over the past year.

Following this, SWEET STEADY performed the new song Good Job!, which was released on the day of the concert. The positive pop song indicative of the group brought smiles to the fans’ faces. The girls also performed the new song Naritai Watashi, shared for the first time on this tour, making the entire venue sparkle and shine. SWEET STEADY showed a cooler side while performing Wagamama and Michishirube, captivating fans with their style and choreography.

During the MC portion, the members looked back on the past year from the formation of the group to today. “I’ve joined an incredible group,” said Yamauchi, who had previously been photographed for magazines and TV before her debut. Okuda and Shiraishi also spoke with tears in their eyes. “It felt like a dream to be able to release our first single CD and to hold events in so many different places.”

In the second half of the show, the group performed Diamond Days, which has been praised by fans as SWEET STEADY’s representative song. They then moved into Shinsekai Crecendo, a song about the bonds of friendship, and Pajama Party!, the title of their first single CD, which is filled with happy memories. The audience’s enthusiasm was boosted as they listened to these three songs filled with SWEET STEADY’s charm.

The girls continued with SWEET BLOOM, the song that inspired the tour’s title. This song expresses the hope that they will continue to make steady progress with the fans they have met over the past year, one step at a time, and that one day they will create a bouquet in full bloom. In this emotional atmosphere, the audience cheered as they performed Call me, Tell me, a song that is currently gaining popularity on TikTok. The show ended with Magic of the Heart and Just Kidding!, as the audience continued to cheer.

The members returned to the stage for an encore, spurred on by loud clapping and cheers, to perform Good Job! for a second time. The audience danced and shouted along, creating a different kind of excitement from the main event. Many believe that future events will be even more exciting, along with the social media posts that follow.

“During our second year, I want to keep moving forward step by step with everyone while continuing to dream big dreams,” Otoi said, reflecting on the tour. “I was an idol before, and Zepp Haneda is where our group formally disbanded. I have fond memories here,” Shiokawa added. “I’m happy to be back here as a part of SWEET STEADY, and to see so many people come to support us.”

The final song was the group’s first single, Hajimari no Aizu. The song has remained by the girl’s side during happy times and difficult times, growing and evolving. The performance, which was only possible with a year’s worth of effort, seemed to be a thank you to the fans who had supported the group.

It was not a smooth year for SWEET STEADY. However, the seven idols, who never gave up and continued to put down roots in the face of any challenge, have blossomed into beautiful flowers, earning tons of cheers and smiles from their fans. However, they are not quite in full bloom just yet. Through steady progress, one step at a time, SWEET STEADY is sure to produce even more beautiful and diverse flowers in the future.

SWEET STEADY will release its second single CD this summer. Release events will be held throughout Japan.
