Nagomi has been appointed as the new brand muse for Utena’s Matomage hair styling brand.

Matomage has adopted the new brand message “As I am, I can keep pushing forward,” to express the importance of liking yourself and to encourage people to be satisfied with themselves rather than comparing themselves with others. Nagomi was chosen to symbolize “the courage to move forward while being true to yourself.” 

The art direction and design of the key visual were handled by our creative studio, yenter, while our ASOBIGUILD was in charge of the production process. The visual expresses the joy a person feels when they’re finally confident with themselves and features the hatching of a butterfly.
