CANDY TUNE to Hold First Hall Tour to Celebrate 2nd Anniversary, Second Single CD Releasing in Spring 2025

2024.12.14

CANDY TUNE, whose first single CD Kiss Me Patissier was released in 2024 and reached the #2 spot on the Oricon Daily Ranking, held a solo concert at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM on December 14, 2024. During the show, the members announced that in addition to the previously announced concert to be held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A, they would be holding additional concerts in Osaka and Nagoya to commemorate the group’s second anniversary and that they would be releasing their second single CD in Spring 2025.

The December 14 concert sold out immediately after tickets went on sale to the general public, with over 800 fans showing up to the venue. The live performance started with the group’s signature song, Kiss Me Patissier. The setlist for the show was a blend of popular tracks and rare songs not often performed, and the audience was hyped up from the start. The girls shocked the crowd by covering the FRUITS ZIPPER tracks Zutto, Zutto, Zutto! and Kimi no Akarui Mirai wo Oikakete, with cheers instantly filling the space. Immediately afterward and during the MC, it was announced that there was a big announcement to be made, and that the group’s second-anniversary tour CANDY CANDY PARTY would be held in 2025. In addition to the previously announced concert to be held at Tokyo International Forum Hall, CANDY TUNE will perform at Niterra Japan Specialty Ceramic Industry Civic Center in Aichi on April 11 and at Fenice Sacay in Osaka on April 18. This will mark the group’s first hall tour. The group’s second single CD was also announced to be released in Spring 2025.

“Our second year has been filled with change and growth for CANDY TUNE, and we’re so excited to celebrate our anniversary with you all,” said member Bibian Murakawa. “It’s only thanks to you, the fans, and those who have supported us, that we’re able to celebrate our second anniversary and perform at such massive venues for the first time. Thank you so much,” Kotomi Tachibana continued. The audience was moved and filled with emotion as the group performed the track Ienakatta Kotoba ~Arigatou~, a song filled with gratitude for friends and fans.

Toward the end of the concert, the members held placards with QR codes leading to the tour’s special website and walked onto the stage as if they were entering the Koshien Stadium, with fans taking pictures of the girls amid the joyous atmosphere.

The CANDY TUNE OFFICIAL FANCLUB is currently offering presale tickets.
