Singer-songwriter Natsuki Kawanishi’s new song Risouteki Girl (Ideal Girl) will be released on April 26.

The new song captures the emotions and daily life of a normal girl seeking more self-confidence, focusing on the efforts that women put in each day. The pre-release demo received over 20 million views on social media, making this release highly-anticipated by listeners. The music video will be released on YouTube on May 10 at 8PM.

In addition, a campaign is underway on TikTok. Users who post videos using the song will be entered into a drawing to win an invitation to a special live performance and autographed goods. A collaborative video choreographed by popular video creator MIOCHIN, who boasts 2.8 million TikTok followers, is also available.

“Even the most beautiful women I see on the street or the seemingly-perfect women on social media have days when they have hectic mornings or lazy days at home. I wrote this song with the hope that all women of the world could relate to it.

When listening to the chorus,

That’s the type of music I wanted to create.
