The comedy manga series A Man Who Defies the World of BL will be adapted into an online drama series in 2024. The fourth volume of the series was released in August 2023. Actor and model Yutaro appeared in the first season of the drama in 2021 and the second season in 2022.
The new series is directed by Ryuichi Honda, known for his work on The Detective is Way Ahead and The Way of the Househusband. The protagonist, a normal-looking college student, finds himself in a world where scenarios seen in boy’s love stories are commonplace as he tries to avoid getting into one of these situations himself. Yutaro will play Ayato, the main character’s younger brother.
