TV Asahi’s exciting nighttime variety zone Barabara Daisakusen will receive an overhaul this fall. On October 3, the popular dance and vocal group ATARASHII GAKKO! will premiere their first namesake show, ATARASHII GAKKO!’s Extracurricular Lesson.

Since its premiere in 2020, Barabara Daisakusen has expanded beyond the realm of television, connecting with social media and online platforms. The number of slots increased from 14 to 18 in the spring of 2023, and the variety series has become a breeding ground for new trends and popular acts.
