Mei Nagasawa‘s Sammy, a platform for artists to show off their works, will hold its first ceramics exhibition for three days starting on December 16.
The first Sammy exhibition was held in 2019. Volume 1 was held in collaboration with photographer Kayo Sebori and was only possible because of a successful crowdfunding campaign. Thankfully, it attracted more than 400 visitors over three days.
Three years have passed and the world has changed in massive ways. Volume 2’s unique theme is ‘The Original Shape,’ and works will pull from pure five pure sources–cell, plop, flit, vein, and root. The exhibition features more works from Kayo Sebori, and each photo links to the ceramic works on display.
