ATARASHII GAKKO! celebrated the final day of their Nippon Calling Tour 2024 on December 22 at Yoyogi 1st National Gymnasium. In 2024, the band played the Gobi Stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the largest music festivals in the world, and performed for a total of 110,000 people during their tour, including 65,000 in Europe, Asia, and North America on a 26-stop tour, and 45,000 on a triumphant tour of Japan starting in November.

With a huge torii gate at the center, horns appeared on either side of the red-tinted stage. When the members emerged from the sphere set up in the center of the stage, the venue erupted into thunderous cheers.
The show began with Change, released in July 2024. “Tokyo, are you ready to be youthful with us,” shouted SUZUKA. Fly High began soon after, featuring a surprise appearance by Muscle AG exclusively for the tour finale, with the members also appearing in the music video. The song Maji Yoroshiku from the album AG! Calling was followed by a call-and-response with the fans, and Hero Show featured a bad guy and a ‘youthful hero’ who kept the audience on their toes.

“This year, we traveled to Europe, Asia, North America, and so many cities around the world on our tour,” MIZYU said during the MC portion. “Finally, we’re here in Tokyo! We’re home!” The audience cheered loudly, and the venue was
filled with overwhelming joy. Following the MC, the fans sang along to the hit track OTONABLUE, performing the famed neck-swinging dance. During Arigato, each of the four members performed using broomsticks as guitars, enlivening
the venue. In the following song, Forever Sisters, SUZUKA called out to the members. “We are sisters forever,” she yelled. The performance confirmed the powerful bond between the four members, who are active both overseas and even in the small area of Yoyogi.

During the following block, in addition to Pineapple Kryptonite Remix, the girls performed remixed versions of Saishuu Jinrui and Koi Geba first performed during the AG! Calling WORLD TOUR. The four girls ran up and down the aisles, communicating with the fans as they performed the choreography for WOO! GO! The final portion of the show soon began, and during Tokyo Calling, SUZUKA addressed the venue. “Now that we’ve descended on Tokyo, we’re ready to share our energy with everyone!” The fans pumped their fists in the air in response. The last song of the performance was NAINAINAI, which made its world debut on the 88rising label in 2021.

During the encore, it was announced that a live concert commemorating the 10th anniversary of the group will be held in July 2025 at Makuhari Messe Halls 9-11, which will be the largest concert ATARASHII GAKKO! has held in Japan. “That’s our 10-year milestone,” SUZUKA said. “But we want to continue to explore the unknown beyond the universe. The four of us will be fine, as long as we’re Forever Sisters!”
The encore concluded with mayoeba toutoshi. “Starting with Budokan this year, we performed at Coachella, stopped in 26 places on the world tour, 13 stops in Japan…it’s been invaluable, but also intense,” SUZUKA said. “I’m truly happy to have spent the best of my youth with these girls. In 2025 and beyond, please continue supporting us!” And with that, the Japan tour was over.
