Natsume Mito’s Burari Kanda Shrine will be available to watch on BS11’s official video site BS11+ and BS11’s official YouTube channel on December 1.

In this video, Natsume Mito, who loves shrines and has experience as a Miko (shrine maiden), explores the mysteries and charms of Kanda Shrine, one of the main shrines during the Edo period. While strolling around the landmark’s historic grounds, Mito unravels the shrine’s secrets, learns more about the Komainu and sacred horses, and hears terrifying legends surrounding these deities. The video will also highlight rare footage of the Kanda Festival, one of the three major festivals in Japan. Mito will also introduce some of the best long-standing restaurants near Kanda Shrine, giving viewers a complete view of the many incredible attractions to enjoy near the landmark, where tradition and modernity merge.
