Yutaro will appear in the upcoming NTV drama series 3-nen C-gumi wa Furin Shitemasu, scheduled to begin airing on October 1, 2024.

Set in a high school senior class where students can now marry without parental consent due to the implementation of the new “18-year-old Coming of Age” law, this unprecedented school suspense drama explores first love, pregnancy, marriage, and even infidelity.

Yutaro will play Kanata Subo, a student in Class 3C who is loyal to his friends but also has a tough side.

I’m sure that many of you are shocked to see the words ‘18-year-old,’ ‘high school student’ and ‘infidelity’ in the same sentence. We’ve been discussing how best to portray these things and carefully shooting each scene. Lowering the age to be treated as an adult to 18 made me think about how I was at 18, and I bet many 18-year-olds living today wouldn’t feel much different. But in reality, there are so many moving parts to adulthood, and I hope that this work can help people ponder these issues a little deeper. Kanata is a very passionate person, and as the story progresses, the balance between ‘friendship’ and ‘love’ will continue to change. I hope you’ll enjoy watching!”
