Meg made her debut in 2002. She penned the lyrics for her albums ‘BEAM,’ ‘STEP,’ and ‘BEAUTIFUL,’ which were composed and arranged by Yasutaka Nakata and reigned at No. 1 on the iTunes album charts in Japan.

Besides solo tours, she has dominated the stage at large events both at home and abroad. In 2009, she performed before 20,000 people as the act to follow Lady Gaga.

As a Harajuku culture icon, Meg’s face is seen on the front covers of many fashion magazines. She has also enjoyed a stream of design offers in recent years, having released limited edition merchandise in collaboration with UNIQLO, Converse, British brand Fred Perry, and many more. Her collaboration with the anime film series ‘Rebuild of Evangelion’ also made headlines.

Meg currently resides in London, UK where she continues to write songs for other artists and develop products.
