Singer-songwriter Ken Kamikita’s digital single, To You Gone Somewhere, was released digitally on July 31.

The single, which is the artist’s first in two years, was created with the theme of “nostalgia” in mind. It evokes the spirit of “New Japanese Folk,” featuring meticulously interwoven vocal effects and layered guitar melodies that bring to mind the artist’s storied career spanning more than 10 years. The album was mastered at Metropolis Studios in the UK, resulting in a sound that harmoniously blends vivid creativity with a sense of warmth.
