CUTIE STREET held the final performance of their 1st ANNIVERSARY JAPAN TOUR 2025 ‘CAN’T STOP CUTIE’ on October 12 and October 13 at Yokohama Pia Arena MM, the largest venue in the group’s history. Approximately 18,000 fans flocked to the venue during the two-day event.

Debuting last August, the group instantly made the charts with their uniquely “KAWAII” and charming members. Their second single CD, We Can’t Stop Suddenly! / The Project of the Earth-Makeup, sold 500,000 copies in its first week, and remains a hit with fans. The group’s first nationwide tour was held to celebrate CUTIE STREET’s first debut anniversary, with the girls visiting 12 cities nationwide for 15 performances, drawing approximately 48,000 people.

As the fans eagerly gathered at the arena, a video suddenly began to play, calling for the eight “KAWAII MAKER” members to awaken after touring Japan. The audience began to chant the girls’ names along with the video, and the members appeared on stage in response to their voices, drawing even louder cheers.

The group opened with their debut track Can’t We Just Be Cute? ~Kawaii Dakejya Dame Desuka?~ and Devoted Cinderella, quickly moving into Song of CUTIE STREET, the member introduction song currently trending on YouTube for its dance practice video. The sound of a train departing echoed from somewhere, and the girls then performed Love Train, featuring adorable choreography inspired by trains and instantly heating up the energy in the venue right from the start.

MC Emiru Kawamoto expressed her joy at having safely reached the final performance of the national tour. The group looked back on the experience, including how the Werewolf game had become popular among the members.

Returning to the stage after the MC segment, the group performed A Little Spoonful, known for its sharp and dynamic movements. Kai and daylight came after, back-to-back, with both songs showcasing CUTIE STREET’s coolness. Along with their dancing and singing, the members’ poised expressions drew in fans throughout the venue. Known for their “KAWAII” image, they showcased their greatly enhanced expressive skills honed over the past year on stage, revealing how much they’ve grown.

Just when fans thought the breathtaking performances had ended, a challenge video played, forcing the members to prove their cuteness to boost the “Cuteness Meter.” Fans were entertained by unique events like the girls dancing the Para Para on a reflexology mat and holding a donut-eating contest on tricycles. At the end, the audience rang out with incredibly loud cheers to max out the meter.

Empowered by the sound, the eight members transformed into new costumes and returned to the stage. Aribobo (from Yabai T-Shirts) composed and wrote the lyrics for the song The Project of the Earth-Makeup, the much-talked-about sequel to Can’t We Just Be Cute? ~Kawaii Dakejya Dame Desuka?~, Can You Find Our Cuteness? ~Kawaii Sagashite Kuremasuka?~, and We Can’t Stop Suddenly! The high-energy songs and the members’ powerful, ever-changing performances push the venue’s excitement to its peak. Moving on, they captured the venue’s heart with Haru Flake, along with Chose Path, the group’s first ballad, unveiled during the tour.

The MC introduced the new costumes featuring large ribbons, then announced Nagisa Manabe’s debut performance of her new song Purikyu-kyu, sending the venue’s energy soaring. Purikyu-kyu is a song with CUTIE STREET’s signature comical and pop melodies that shift key one after another, making fans feel like they’re watching a musical. Despite being a new song, it generated huge excitement, and riding that momentum, Kawamoto loudly thanked the fans, performing More Berry Summer! And shouting “Thank you all so much for bringing me to this stage!” as Happy World! Began. The members’ and fans’ smiles were bright during the three energetic songs, and the entire venue seemed enveloped in euphoria.

When Aika Sano stood in the center of the stage, she once again expressed her gratitude to the fans for CUTIE STREET reaching its first anniversary. “Over this past year, we’ve been able to meet so many wonderful people and share so many different views. Those days are our treasures,” she said, before the girls began to sing Hello Hello Future. “We’ve climbed a lot of hills to get here, our smiles and tears are just beginning,” the song’s lyrics state, prompting member Risa Furusawa to cry during the performance. However, Ayano Masuda supported Furusawa, and all eight members performed together until the very end. Eight people who met just a year ago and have overcome countless challenges hand in hand, which led to this day. The main part of the live show concluded to applause with an emotional performance that seemed to symbolize CUTIE STREET itself.

Responding to the passionate encore calls from attendees at the venue, the girls returned to the stage, and letters from the members to the fans supporting them were then read aloud. “When this tour was announced, I’ll be honest, I felt a bit anxious. But once it started, it was so much fun. The atmosphere at each venue was different, and every single show felt fresh,” said Kana Itakura. “Over the past year, there were fun moments, but to be honest, I was desperately trying to keep up with the group’s incredible growth, both in our performances and emotionally, every single day. But I have the strongest seven people standing on stage with me. Together, the eight of us overcame hardships and struggles, and we’ll keep striving toward our big goals,” shouted Miyu Umeda. Haruka Sakuraba continued with her own statement. “Standing at my goal, looking back, I truly felt how many people have supported me. Even when I felt anxious, seeing pink (from glow sticks and T-shirts) from the stage always gave me such strength and made me so happy.”

After this, CUTIE STREET presented their new song Shooting Star as a token of gratitude to the fans. This commemorative song for the group’s first anniversary embodies the genuine feelings of the members, who have grown through repeated challenges. These eight members proved they can continue to shine in the future, not just with words, but through performances filled with heartfelt emotion.

Next came the popular track Can You Find Our Cuteness?, and finally, the girls once again performed their signature song Can’t We Just Be Cute? ~Kawaii Dakejya Dame Desuka?~. During the first song, video recording was permitted, so fans unable to make it to the show are invited to search for footage on social media.

The group’s first nationwide tour was held over approximately two months. Today, they’ve made it this far not just because of the eight members, but because of the support from the fans. The stage shone with that sense of connection, as evidenced by the loud cheers and the smiles visible from the audience.

The new song Shooting Star, which made its debut at this performance, will be available for download starting October 14. Additionally, a fan club tour has been scheduled for February.
