Yui Sakurai, a member of FRUITS ZIPPER, has made her solo major debut with Universal Music. Her debut song, Loving Me, Loving You, will be released on September 19.

Her solo major debut was announced as a surprise during the ‘41st MyNavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER’ event held at Saitama Super Arena on September 6, where she performed her first single for the first time. This song is a self-affirming love song that conveys feelings to the person who helped the singer realize how much they like themself. Prior to the official release, the song is now available for early streaming on TikTok.

“When my solo major debut was decided, I was truly shocked.
One year ago, as part of a project commemorating my 10th anniversary as an idol, I was given the opportunity to pursue solo activities for a short time. However, balancing both group and solo work proved extremely difficult. I lacked confidence and faced so many struggles.
However, thanks to everyone’s joy and tremendous support and encouragement at that time, the project was a huge success, and that’s how I received this offer for my solo major debut.
