GENDA GiGO Entertainment and ASOBISYSTEM are joining forces to open the new entertainment facility, KAWAII MONSTER LAND, in Winter 2025. We are pleased to share the location, brand logo, and Monster Girl recruitment information, along with official SNS accounts for the establishment ahead of its opening date.
The legendary KAWAII MONSTER CAFE, which attracted fans from around the world to Harajuku starting in 2015, was produced by the beloved artist Sebastian Masuda. Based on the concept of “a new TOKYO that no one has ever seen = MONSTER,” it embodied Japan’s capital, a city that swallows fashion and culture from all over the world and creates something new. Unfortunately, KAWAII MONSTER CAFE, whose colorful and photogenic space and experience attracted more than 700,000 visitors from Japan and abroad and became a hot topic on social media, regrettably closed in 2021. However, a new facility that will inherit its brand identity will finally be opened in 2025.
The story of KAWAII MONSTER LAND is a unique one, explaining that there used to be a huge amusement park beneath Harajuku, with part of it being excavated to become the new attraction. Dubbed a “KAWAII amusement park,” the locale will be the most colorful experience in Tokyo, providing an incredibly photogenic indoor space. The opening date is scheduled for Winter 2025. As a new landmark that will share the many charms of Tokyo with the world and a new Harajuku landmark to attract both inbound tourists and domestic travelers alike, we hope everyone will enjoy this unique locale.

The location offered one-of-a-kind content with a concept that allowed visitors to experience Harajuku’s KAWAII culture in many different ways.
