On May 30, CAFÉ GALLERY & OMIYAGE SHOP ‘CC’ opened in Kamiyama-cho, Shibuya. 

■About ‘CC’

CC is an affiliate of ‘CARBON,’ a bar in Dogenzaka, Shibuya where creative people gather, and ‘CARBON COFFEE,’ a coffee stand and gallery in Tenjin, Fukuoka. The store’s name is derived from ‘Carbon Copy,’ and was created to be a place where as many people as possible can come together to create great things.

The silver-toned store combines a coffee stand, art gallery, and souvenir store. The menu includes coffee made with original roasted beans, drinks using domestic organic matcha and hojicha green tea, and Japanese-style hot sandwiches, all of which can be enjoyed casually. In addition, the walls are decorated with art by creators of all genres.

■ Souvenirs (Omiyage) Inspired by Japan

Souvenirs inspired by Japan are available to purchase at the counter. The collaboration tote bag with the product brand “nananana” is designed with the CC box logo in a checkerboard pattern. Other products include T-shirts and hand towels. The store logo and OMIYAGE design were created by the creative studio yenter.
