On March 16, ‘matsuri ’25: Japanese Music Experience LOS ANGELES’ presented by the CEIPA×TOYOTA GROUP “MUSIC WAY PROJECT” was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California. ATARASHII GAKKO! performed during the concert portion of the event. 

The music event focused on Japanese artists who have global appeal, showcasing their talents on a massive stage. In addition to live performances by three artists who have garnered attention in the international music scene, a press conference for Japanese and U.S. music industry professionals and media was held, sponsored by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and supported by the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles and JAPAN HOUSE. 

ATARASHII GAKKO!, who performed at the event along with YOASOBI and Ado, took the baton from YOASOBI and performed 11 songs, including Otona Blue, non-stop. Main vocalist SUZUKA called on the members and the audience to sing together with their new song One Heart. A new, unreleased song, Free Yourself, was also performed live for the first time.

The event attracted an audience of 7,000 people from the U.S. and abroad, and tickets were sold out in advance, indicating a high level of interest in Japanese music. The event will be broadcast and distributed in Japan on March 29 on WOWOW (JST), will be shown at movie theaters nationwide, and distributed outside Japan on Stagecrowd.
