On August 23, SUNNY ONLY 1 released her first EP, Electric Drive.

Last year, the singer and DJ, a member of the creative collective bala, released several popular singles including Dance like a monkey feat. Mori as a collaborative track with Mori from Dongurizu. 

The album opens with the mysterious electro dance tune Utopia, produced by Noah Ings, an up-and-coming producer from London, which references the popular children’s song Kagome Kagome. The old-school hip-house track BOUNCE features a guest appearance by rapper YINYO, while the emotional electronic rock song 100% features DALU from TOKYO YOUNG VISION. Natural born killer is a sensational, dirty, intense techno track that will have listener’s speakers banging, while Roller Coast Girl is a melancholy drum’n’bass pop song that has been featured as the EP’s lead track. The latter half of the album includes the R&B tune Shogyoumujou (All Things Must Pass), the gorgeous electro-soul track Energy, and the euphoric UKG bass sound of the classic song Take Me With You.
