Actor Takuma Usa will appear in the unusual reading play Memorandum No. 136 at Kinokuniya Hall in Shinjuku starting on December 16.
The performance is the latest work directed by Marie Gonohe (Bungakuza), whose credits also include the stage production of The New Hamlet. Set in an apartment in Paris, Memorandum No. 136 is a romantic comedy based on the play L’aide Memoire by French writer and screenwriter Jean-Claude Carrière which tells a very human tale of falling in love.
