City Pop TOKYO is an NFT project inspired by City Pop, a music genre from Japan that has become massively popular overseas and among Gen Z. The project will begin sales of 1,984 unique NFT characters on April 26, 2023 at 21:00.
The City Pop TOKYO project has been steadily building a community through Twitter and Discord, with many members expressing interest in purchasing these unique NFTs. With so much demand, a sales schedule has finally been determined.

About City Pop TOKYO
City Pop TOKYO is a project that allows both NFT holders and non-holders to help develop new virtual talents through Twitter posts after NFT sales conclude. The NFT Characters will level up based on the training points they earn when they post on Twitter, which will also transform their NFT properties. The contestants will be ranked in order of level, and an audition will be held to determine who gets to make their musical debut.
The project hopes to show off the usefulness of Web 3.0 technology while promoting Japanese culture to audiences worldwide.

The project’s characters are featured in trendy outfits and makeup representing symbolic fashion styles in Japan, such as “GAL,” “SHOWA,” and “REIWA”. After the NFTs are sold, they will be entered into an event titled “METAVERSE’S GOT TALENT.” Fans will be able to support their favorite virtual idol on Twitter, and winners will be sighed to ASOBISYSTEM to begin their professional activities ranging from appearing in advertisements to releasing music. Members of the community can vote and give feedback, helping to develop their favorite talent’s career.
