KAWAII LAB. Launches New Group ‘MORE STAR,’ Debut Single ‘More, Sparkly’ Now Streaming

A new group, MORE STAR, has debuted as part of the KAWAII LAB. idol project. The group’s debut single, ‘More, Sparkly’, is now available to stream.
The group’s members include Cocona Arai, Marin Endo, Nanaka Sasahara, Karin Suzuki, Yuna Takanashi, Kohaku Nakayama, Sora Hagita, Ami Morita, and Rushia Yamamoto. All are alumni of KAWAII LAB. MATES. and have spent time admiring the “KAWAII” aura created by the project’s senior groups, basking in that light from the closest vantage point. The group consists of members ranging from 16 to 20 years old, with an average age of 17.8. The name embodies the hope that these young, unpolished girls will grow “more” and become shining stars that people can admire. Under the concept of “WITH KAWAII,” the girls will explore and create their own unique “KAWAII” that only they can deliver, together with their fans.
MORE STAR’s debut single is More Sparkly. The song was performed during a pre-debut training camp as the selected piece for the debut members and symbolizes the group’s aspiration to “grow more (MORE) and become shining, admired (STAR) figures,” linking the group name with the title. The track carries a powerful message, reflecting the girls’ journey as they strive to move forward despite their imperfections, embracing their flaws while embracing the theme of “shining even brighter.”
Alongside the song’s release, a teaser for the music video, set to premiere on December 12, has also been unveiled. This song will be included on the KAWAII LAB. BEST ALBUM, releasing on February 11.
Additionally, MORE STAR will make their debut at the KAWAII LAB. SESSION vol.17 event hosted by KAWAII LAB. on December 12th at K Arena Yokohama. Please look forward to seeing how these nine members will shine and create a new kind of “KAWAII” in the future.
