On September 19, MANON released her new song, Nisemono smilin.
Following her previous track, Different Type (Prod. Linna Figg), this new rock number reflects MANON’s evolving sound. Produced by knoak, it fuses the driving energy of melodic punk with the vivid intensity of electro-pop. The singer’s lyrics reflect a desire to break free from reality’s shackles and vividly capture the raw reality of a generation struggling to survive amidst stagnation.
The music video was directed by Shota Tsuji, a filmmaker who has gained attention for his work capturing the essence of street culture, including videos for rappers and other artists. MANON’s street presence is a major highlight, and the video is infused with a fast-paced sound and aggressive energy.
