CANDY TUNE Starts First National Tour, Performs New Song ‘Baibai FIGHT!’

On March 16, CANDY TUNE began its first national tour, CANDY TUNE 1st ANNIVERSARY TOUR 2024 -TUNE UP IN TO US-, at ReNY Limited in Nagoya.

The tour is being held to celebrate the group’s first anniversary. After Nagoya, the girls will perform in Fukuoka and Osaka, followed by the tour finale at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo, the largest venue in the group’s history for a solo concert.

The first performance began with an energetic intro while the members appeared in new costumes. CANDY TUNE performed 15 songs, including Kiss Me Patissier, a popular tune on TikTok since last year, the fan-favorite Hissatsu Azato Pose, G.R.W.M, Arigato, and new tracks composed exclusively for the tour. The audience was stunned by the group’s adorable dance moves, impressive singing voices, and polished appearance.

“I want to see so many different landscapes with you all,” member Rino Fukuyama said during the MC, teasing the group’s second year. “This is our first-anniversary tour–we want to become even bigger, so please keep supporting CANDY TUNE!”

For the encore, CANDY TUNE performed the new song Baibai FIGHT!  The song was created by Tamaya 2060% (Wienners), known for his work on the song Pure in the World by FRUITS ZIPPER and was inspired by the members’ comments after sharing a long conversation with Tamaya2060% (Wienners). Expressing the members’ thoughts and feelings about who they are in the present moment and cheering them on for the future, the audience’s energy hit its peak during this electrifying performance.

The tour was a smash hit from the start, and CANDY TUNE will continue on to Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo. Check out the official CANDY TUNE social media channels for ticket information for each show.
