Actress Natsume Mito will appear in the short film Oyashiki no Kamisama (The Lord of the Manor, tentative title) set in the town of Nishiizu in Shizuoka Prefecture.

Located on the western side of the Izu Peninsula, Nishiizu is a town blessed with mild weather and inspiring natural wonders, attracting tourists eager to see its beautiful sunsets and the popular blue cave Tensoudo, which was awarded the top prize by Nikkei Plus 1. The film was shot entirely on location in Nishiizu and produced locally,  incorporating many of the town’s charms.

Crowdfunding is underway for the film’s production, and screening information will be announced at a later date.
