Tokyo Community Radio (TCR), an online radio platform run by Licaxxx, will hold its ‘sessions’ program for the third time starting April 17. The training program, open to the public, will last for three days and take place at Izu Resort Villa in Shizuoka.

Started in 2023, the ‘sessions’ program helps aspiring musicians to improve their skills in music production and allows up-and-coming creators to share their experiences and chat with people who have experience with desktop music creation and want to release tracks played by DJs. The third event includes a 3-day/2-night training camp at Izu Resort Villa, and while working both individually and in groups, participants will take part in discussions regarding the process leading up to the release of a track, along with other helpful panels. The organizers of the event, Licaxxx and Stones Taro, and other active artists like kZm, DJ DISK, Yohji Igarashi, and CYBER RUI, will be available to chat with aspiring creators about their problems and concerns. The advice these accomplished artists share can alter the trajectory of a musician’s life.

Additionally, Mr. Ho, a globally-active producer based in Hong Kong, will take part in the event and is scheduled to perform at Rainbow Disco Club.

Rainbow Disco Club, celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and Red Bull are also teaming up to give participants a complimentary ticket to the Rainbow Disco Club after the camp. From April 19-21, aspiring creators will be able to experience incredible performances by some of the world’s best DJs and trackmakers.
